Ross Berger is a writer for the lonelygirl15 video series.
"To protest his father's request of becoming a lawyer, Ross took a playwriting course at his alma mater, Brandeis University. Thinking it was a mere diversion from his pre-law studies, Ross soon thrived at playwriting, winning two awards at Brandeis and having two professional productions under his belt before the age of 22. Upon graduation, Ross entered Columbia University to study for his MFA in playwriting. It was there that he began an intensive program under the tutelage of political dramatist Eduardo Machado. During his third year, Ross emerged as an original voice among his contemporaries when his play The Shoebox Of Ebbets Field was chosen by the Cherry Lane Theatre to be produced as part of their mentorship fellowship program. Ross soon forged a strong bond with playwright and Oscar-nominee Michael Weller, who served as his mentor. Since then, Ross has received many prestigious awards and productions and is now making his home in television. Other mentors include actor Bruce MacVittie, writers Richard Sweren, Romulus Linney, and Martin Cloutier." [1]
