Colin Hargraves has directed, written, edited, supervised the music and operated the camera for the lonelygirl15 series. His first contributions to the series were on the lonelygirl15 Season 1 Recap.
From 1998 to 2002, Colin attended The University at Buffalo, where he wrote for the student paper, Generation.
Together with his friends Matt Lange, Nick Wagner, and Nate Galbreath, Colin formed a band called "A Better Tommorow" in 1999. Colin did the vocals. The band broke up in 2000, and their first album, "Every 13 Days" was self-released in 2001.
In June 2002, right out of college, Colin and some of his friends created Kamikaze, which featured multimedia events showcasing performance art, paintings, and drawings. Colin helped put on a number of shows and had many of his paintings featured at the gallery. In December 2002, after a total of fourteen events, the group shut down so the members could pursue other career opportunities. [1] Since then, Colin has edited for various TV shows including "Love Lounge" and "Punk'd." He also edited the National Geographic program, "Undercover History: The Real Roswell."
In early 2008, Colin edited Marcello Daciano's short film, Laura, with Jennifer Roth. The film screened for the first time on Tuesday, February 26th, 2008 and has been submitted to the Cannes Film Festival.
