Transcript
(Daniel pacing around the room)
Daniel: I haven't heard from Sarah or Jonas since Friday.
(Daniel sits down at the desk)
Daniel: We were following that truck, and I went inside the diner to keep an eye on the driver, and I guess I got mixed up, because when I came out, they were gone. Sarah's phone was in Jonas's car, and I guess Jonas has his on him, but whenever I call it, it gives me this... weird tone that says his phone isn't enabled for international calls. So anyway, I ended up driving around for hours trying to figure out where that truck went, but I'm no detective, I... I dunno, so I ended up back at home, and I made a phone call that I was dreading.
(Cuts to Daniel at a laptop making a video call. We hear a dial tone, then Taylor appears on the laptop, wearing a headset.)
Taylor: Hey Daniel.
Daniel: Hey Taylor, how you doin'?
Taylor: Fine, I was just thinking about you.
Daniel: Oh, yeah?
Taylor: Yeah, I saw you posted on whatweird.com. Some of that stuff is totally bizarre.
Daniel: I dunno, it's weird what people make up.
Taylor: What, you think it's made up?
Daniel: I dunno. Listen, Taylor, have you heard from Sarah?
Taylor: No, but Sarah's not exactly the poster child for keeping in touch, now is she?
Daniel: No... have you been watching our videos, though?
Taylor: Not lately. I've been kinda busy with school and soccer, but I'll catch up.
Daniel: Listen... I uh, I don't know where she-- uh, she kinda disappeared.
Taylor: (after a pause) What do you mean, disappeared?
Daniel: Like, like she took off.
Taylor: Well, I mean, that's Sarah, right? She's probably just off sulking somewhere. (Taylor's mobile phone rings) Shoot.
Daniel: What?
Taylor: Okay, I gotta go, um, but I'll let you know if Sarah calls, okay?
(Taylor cuts the video call off)
Daniel: Ok, but... she just hung up.
(Cuts to Daniel pacing around the room)
Daniel: Now, I just... I don't know what to do. (sits down at the desk) Mallory isn't around, she's off working on a film project for DelMundo's class. I mean, the place is empty... I'm just goin' crazy around here. I have a ton of school work to do, but I just... I can't focus. I mean, where the hell are they? (looks down at his book, and drops his pen in frustration)
Notes
- This is the first on-screen appearance on screen of Taylor since episode 281: Sister to Sister, 64 videos ago.
- This video has yet another mention of whatweird.com, evidencing that something more could be behind the website.
- Daniel says Mallory is away working on a project for Prof. DelMundo, which could add to speculation that Mallory and Prof. DelMundo are involved in a relationship.
- Jonas's phone giving the message that it's not "enabled for international calls" implies that Jonas (and Sarah) may be somewhere outside of the United States.
