Watch Your Back is the three-hundred second video in the lonelygirl15 video series. It is also the forty-sixth video of season two.

Transcript

(Jonas is sitting outside on a rundown porch.)

Jonas: Hey, everybody. So, Emma and Claire are...out there. Doing whatever they do; training. I don't really know what they do. They don't let me be part of it. Actually, I've been really bored. So, I went fishing. (holds up a fish) Caught some. You know what, I like Claire. I'm-she's great. I mean, she's weird. Definitely weird. But, she's great. I'm glad we're here.

(Scene cuts to Emma and Claire entering an old rundown room. Jonas is at a table, preparing a fish.)

Emma: Wassup, brother!

Jonas: Hey. Just, uh, making some fish.

Emma: Ew! What are you doing?

Claire: What are you doing here?

Jonas: Yeah, I caught this fish. And I'm just gonna, you know...

Emma: Ew! (Runs over to the camera.) Here, let me get a closer look at this.

Jonas: What I think I'm gonna do with it is cut the tail off, then the head. And then... You come down the middle. And that's kinda, like--that's how you fillet a fish.

Claire: And what would you do with the insides of the fish?

Jonas: Uh, you just kinda scoop--scoop 'em.

Claire: With your hand?

(Emma laughs.)

Jonas: Yeah. Or, you know, like the scooper, like a stick. Um...

Claire: Mhm. (She bends over the fish.)

Jonas: Some, glass. What--what are you doing? Do you know...'Cause I don't...

(Claire cuts the fish.)

Emma: (in disgust) Oh!

Jonas: Wow, thats...

Emma: Oh, God! Oh!

Claire: (Holds up the fish head.) That's how you cut a head off.

Jonas: You just--

Emma: She just told you!

Jonas: No! That's just--that's what I was going to do!

Emma: Ha! You got beat by a girl!

(The video shows Jonas watching Claire and Emma train as a voice-over of Emma and Jonas talking plays.)

Jonas: That's a good one.

Emma: That is a good one.

Jonas: Did Claire tell you that?

Emma: Yeah, she did.

Jonas: Listen, Emma, I just wanna talk to you.

Emma: Okay.

Jonas: Are you...you know, enjoying this? Are you-are you into it? 'Cause, look, if you're-if you're not, then we can leave. I don't want--

Emma: No, I like it.

Jonas: You sure?

Emma: Mhm. I do. I feel like...

Jonas: You look like you're having a good time.

Emma: (Emma laughs) I feel strong.

(Claire shows up.)

Claire: Jonas.

Jonas: What? What? Oh, hey. Come on.

Claire: I need to talk to you. Turn the camera off, please.

(Emma films through a window at Jonas and Claire discussing something.)

Emma: I probably shouldn't do this. This looks intense.

(Scene cuts to Jonas sitting alone outside. It's almost dark.)

Jonas: Okay, so, there's been a change in plans. Claire wants, kinda, a big favor from me. She wants to take Emma deeper into the forest, while I stay here. Because her sources have it that (scratches head) there's a Watcher in our area. Probably the one from the other day. We talked about it, and...she's right. She's right. I should stay here and lead the Watcher away. And they should go to their safety spot further in the woods. So, that's what we're gonna do. That's what we're gonna do.

(Scene cuts to Claire and Emma packing.)

Claire: Okay, Emma? You ready to go?

Emma: Yeah.

Jonas: It's gonna be okay, Emma.

Emma: Are you sure you want me to do this?

Jonas: Yeah. I mean, you got to. Listen, it's gonna be okay.

Emma: (shakes head, tearful) I don't want to go with out you.

Jonas: (hugs Emma) I'll be--I'll be right back though, okay?

Claire: Emma! Are you ready?

Emma: Yeah, just-can I just have a second please?

Claire: Yeah, then we need to go. Jonas.

Jonas: As soon as this Watcher's gone, I'll be right back with you, okay? I'll be right there with you.

Emma: Promise? Do you promise?

Jonas: I promise you. I promise you. Okay?

(Emma and Claire step out.)

Claire: Come on down. Do you want to take this?

(Claire and Emma wave good bye and walk forward.)

Jonas: Emma! I'll see you soon. I promise! Bye.

(Scene cuts to Jonas exploring his surroundings with a flash light.)

Jonas: Look at this place. I can't believe she actually lives here. I'm not gonna ask what happened in here. Looks like some crazy training. (spots a backpack.) What is that? Wow, looks like our camera. Looks pretty nice.

Virgil: Jonas!

(Jonas turns and films outside where Virgil, the Watcher, is standing.)

Jonas: Shit, shit.

(Runs out of the house. Virgil sees him and runs out after him.)

Virgil: Jonas, stop!

Jonas: (Virgil tackles Jonas) Argh!

Virgil: Jonas!

Jonas: No!

Virgil: Jonas!

Jonas: No!

Virgil: Stop fighting me, Jonas! Jonas! Stop it! If I wanted to hurt you, I would have killed you. (holds a gun to Jonas's head) Jonas, where is Emma?!

Jonas: I dunno! I dunno!

Virgil: God dammit, Jonas! If you don't tell me where that LaRezisto Shadow took your sister, her fucking blood will be on your hands.

Jonas: (panting) Huh?
