Transcript

(Jonas tucks Emma into bed, walks down the stairs and notices a man dressed in black outside coming towards the house. He puts down the camera and struggles to keep the door closed as the watcher (?) attempts to force his way in.)

Jonas' Dad: Jonas! Who's at the door? Jonas?

Jonas: Dad! Go upstairs! Take mom and go upstairs! Please! Go upstairs! Please! Go! Go! Go! Go!

(There is an explosion and the sound cuts out briefly as Jonas, his mother and his father make their way upstairs)

Jonas's Mom: Jonas, what's going on?

Jonas: It's okay.

Jonas's Dad: Where's Emma? Where's Emma? Where's Emma?

Jonas: She's fine, hold this

(Jonas and his parents crouch down in the darkened hallway awaiting their attacker.)

Jonas's Mom: Why? What am I suppose to do with this?

Jonas: Just record everything that happens.

Jonas' Mom: Where's Emma?

Jonas' Dad: (whispering) Who are these people? Jesus Christ, he's got a gun! He's got a gun. He's going to kill us.

(As the attacker approaches the top of the stairs, Jonas and his father attack and incapacitate one watcher as he fires a shot into the air. No one is shot and Jonas takes his gun.)

Jonas: Go go go go go!

Jonas: You okay? Is everybody all right?

Jonas' Mom: Where's Emma?

Jonas: She's fine. (pause) Everybody stay quiet. (They go downstairs) Come on.

Jonas' Dad: Back back back back door back door.

Jonas' Mom: There is someone outside!

(Sounds of glass breaking and shots being fired are heard. The screen goes black for a couple of seconds.)

(Watcher #2 attacks and shoots Jonas's father. Jonas's mother screams and runs towards them and is knocked to the floor. Two more watchers force Jonas to his knees.)

Watcher #3: Get down. Get down, on your knees. What's that noise?

Watcher #4: I'm not sure, I don't know.

Watcher #3: I thought you told me the perimeter was secure.

Watcher #4: It was.

Watcher #3: Go check it out.

Watcher #3: (pushing Jonas down again) Stay down! Where's the girl!?

Jonas: She's not here.

Watcher #3: Where's the fucking girl, Jonas?

(The watcher kicks Jonas in the ribs, Jonas grabs his side in pain.)

Watcher #2: Where's the girl?

Jonas: She's not here, I swear to God she's not here.

(weak coughing is heard)

Daniel: (comes in carrying Watcher #4's rifle, forces Watcher #3 to his knees and hits him in the back of the head)Get down! On the ground right now!

Daniel: Are you O.K.? (Screaming) Jonas? You all right?!?

(Jonas grabs a gun and knocks Watcher #2 out.)

Jonas: We've got to get Emma! I'm going to go grab her!

(Jonas runs toward the stairs.)

Notes

• Daniel posted to the forum:
  • Jonas's parents "were shot and bleeding a lot, but still breathing. We dropped them off at the hospital and took Emma to a safe place."[1]
  • The attackers "weren't watchers and they didn't look like shadows, I have no idea who they were, but they obviously work for the Order and wanted Emma."[2]
  • Emma had been given sleeping pills by Jonas. Jonas had planned to take her out of the house on his own, however, the home invasion occurred changing this plan abruptly. At the time of his post, Emma had still not woken up from the sleeping pills and was safe with Jonas and himself.[3]
  • He went there as a result of Taylor's video and arrived as this was all going down. He states that he intends to contact Taylor and Sarah later that night.

• This is the first time Daniel and Jonas have been together since Bree's death, which took place over 3 weeks ago.
• Instead of the typical "Watcher" uniforms, these Watchers wear rugged clothing.
• It is unclear whether these are watchers or shadows in this video. It would appear that they are watchers because shadows, as told by Alex in Proceed with Caution, are augmented by pharmaceuticals. They are stronger and faster than the average person. These men seem to be quite weak.
• The video suggests that The Order did not use the façade of "The Ceremony" to lure Emma, but rather planned to take her by force.
• The Ringing and drop of audio volume at the 0:47 second mark appears to have been caused by an explosive charge used on the door allowing the watchers access to the house, the beeping prior to this would support this claim.
• It should be noted that the concussion from the blast could cause ringing in the ears if it was strong enough, it would only cause the sound to on the camera to go blank for about second or two (The ringing is caused by the brains overload from the sound and is not really there, if you were to cover your ears well enough you would not be affected).
