(Daniel sits in his bedroom and sighs.)

Daniel: I don't know... honestly I don't know how to deal with all of this -- the Order, the Hymn of One, the Shadow. I just... I don't know. I'm trying to, I guess I'm trying to talk to real people. You know like, no offense, but people who are actually right there. Like, right in front of your face. I just, I don't know. It's harder than I thought it would be.

(Camera cuts to behind a plant, through which Daniel's dad's arm is visible holding a cup, Daniel is seen standing at the refrigerator.)

Daniel: When are you gonna get this door fixed, dad? Hey, do we have anything besides mustard and butter around here? Mom? Okay, butter sandwiches... great. Want one? So um, I'm gonna join the football team. Made me talk to a career counselor for college. Um, for classes. And uh, yeah. It went great. They're gonna give me a full scholarship. I'm going to Switzerland for school. I'll clean up, don't worry.

(Cuts to Daniel in his bathroom.)

Daniel: Okay, so. Those were my parents. They're uh... great talkers. It's where I get my conversational skills from. But you know what, it's okay. I'm gonna make it work. I uh, I've already registered for classes. I'm actually getting ready for class right now. (Washes his face.) And hopefully, I will make some new friends, because I don't need any more trouble. So, Jonas, (dries face) Sarah, Taylor, if um, I don't know where you are, but if you're out there, and you see this, I just need to be left alone. I just feel the most normal when I'm alone. And, I don't know. I think... I think the best way to do that is to stop vlogging. So, that's it for me. Um, I don't know. Thanks for everything. Oh uh, I did get that Purple Monkey e-mail, I haven't opened it yet. Um, maybe tomorrow. I'll see ya.

• The title of the video is a reference to one of Bree's older videos, My Parents Suck....
• This video further cultivates the possibility that many of the main characters will no longer blog, as witnessed earlier in Sluttiness Prevails.
• It seems that the characters are avoiding blogging as a means of coping with Bree's death.
• In the beginning of the video it looks as if Daniel is afraid to look directly at the camera.
• This is the first time we have seen Daniel interacting with his parents.
