This page lists and describes the templates currently available on LGPedia, to make it easier for you to check for and select templates helping you to create pages.

Layout & Design

Template:Brclear This template adds a special line break that makes the next line start after all floating elements currently aligned next to the text.

Template:Color This template allows you to conveniently change text color.
Template:Epcode This template creates episode numbers in the format [season]x[episode] from normal, consecutive episode numbers.
Template:Fakeheader This template allows you to create fake headers.
Template:HoverTOC This template reduces the Table of Contents to a small, floating block that expands if the user hovers over it.

Possibly only compatible with Firefox.

Template:Init This template is used to generate standardized, colored initials for various bloggers. Yes
Template:Multi-column numbered list Supposed to allow numbered lists with multi-columns, to be rewritten.
Template:Numtext Converts episode numbers into worded numbers. Sub-parts are re-usable.
Template:TOCright Displays the normal TOC, but floating on the right, rather than as a block on the left.

Template:Inuse Used to mark pages before long editing sessions are started, to make sure others don't edit the page in the meantime (as that would lead to editing conflicts). See also Template:Underconstruction.
Template:Lastchange Creates a customizable message when the page was last modified. (Visible at the top of this page.)
Template:Lowercase Used to note that a page name should start with a lowercase character, but doesn't for technical reasons.
Template:Merge Marks pages that have been nominated to be merged with another page. Yes
Template:Nonactiveuser Marks users that are no longer active on LGPedia. Yes
Template:NeedsImages Used to mark pages with no or very few images on them.
Template:One other use Can be used to link to a page explaining a different use of the current expression (e.g. the tag "Tachyon" vs. "Tachyon" the hot killer chick). If the number of additional meanings is more than one, a disambiguation page could be necessary.
Template:Pending discussion Displays a notice that the talk page in question still contains discussions that have not yet been resolved.
Template:Sockpuppet Used to mark all usernames used by the same physical user; all are automatically put into Category:Sockpuppets. Yes
Template:Spambot Used to mark spambots when no administrator is around; this puts the bot into Category:Active Spambots, so that a returning administrator has all spambots collected on one page, and only has to quickly confirm that the linked revision actually contained spam from that IP before s/he bans the bot. Yes
Template:Spambot-banned Once a marked bot has been banned, append "-banned" to the previous template call, and the user gets listed in Category:Banned Spambots instead. (Along with changed text to identify him as banned.) Yes
Template:Spoiler While there is a general notice about LGPedia containing LG15 and KM spoilers on the main page, this template can be used to put warnings on individual pages, for example for fan-created series.

Template:Hardwork Used to mark LonelyCrack addicts that have nothing better to do than investing hours at a time to edit LGPedia.
Template:Subheader Used to add a stylized subheader, meant to go with Template:Header.
Template:Transcript incomplete Places a small notices that the transcript on this video page is incomplete.
Template:Unsigned Used to sign previously unsigned comments at a later time, while keeping a notice that it was previously unsigned.
Template:Userbox Barebone userbox.
Template:Vid Used to add new videos to the news on the main page. Yes
Template:VidExpand Template that can hide all basic information on a video in a block that only slides out if an icon is clicked.

Should not be used for large lists, as the extra amount of code and information, even if not visible, add significantly to the length of the page. Can be used for smaller listings, though.
Expansion works only in CSS 2 compatible browsers (read: Not Internet Explorer).
