Introduction
A Change In My Life is the first video in which Bree mentions the ceremony that she has been selected to perform. Her videos prior to this one focus on her life as a homeschooler, her platonic friendship with Daniel and the friction between them and her strict parents. Following this video, the mysterious ceremony becomes one of the major points of interest of the series and triggers a suspenseful chain of events.
Preparation
Bree explains that she must undergo rigorous preparation for the ceremony. She sticks to a special diet, takes iron supplements, receives injections of an undisclosed substance, learns the rare language of Enochian and practices exercises and walking steps with her new helper Lucy.
Details of the ceremony
Judging from Bree's accounts of the ceremony, it is held rarely. She and her [[Bree's parents}parents]] consider it a great honor that she was selected to participate in it. Her parents themselves were not invited to attend, although they do help her prepare for it.

She first mentioned the ritual in A Change In My Life, when she revealed that a diet, learning an ancient language, and exercises are part of her preparations. In the video My Helper, Bree tells us that Lucy, an acquaintance of her parents and member of Bree's unknown religion, is helping to prepare her for the ceremony.
In the video Bree The Cookie Monster, as they are rating cookie recipes, P. Monkey holds up the scores "10," "12," and "06." This fueled speculation that Oct. 12 would be the date of the ceremony, as it is the date of Aleister Crowley's birthday, known as Crowleymas.
In her video The Ceremony Is Tomorrow :), Bree reveals that it will indeed take place on October 12. She also describes her preparations in more depth. "Once a week I've been receiving shots. They don't always leave me feeling the best. The diet has been near impossible. I don't know how I did that. Luckily, today they let me have milk and cookies." She also mentions that she has been taking pills and that the ancient language she was studying was Enochian.
In the video The Ceremony Daniel follows Bree to the ceremony but has to leave, after he is spotted.
In the video I Completed The Ceremony Bree tells us a little about the ceremony. She has a bandage on her shoulder again, which is odd, since her shots were supposed to be in preparation for the ceremony, which is over.
In I Lied To Daniel, Bree reveals that there was no ceremony on Oct. 12, 2006 and the entire thing was a fake which had been orchestrated to get rid of Daniel. After the fake ceremony Bree continued to prepare for a ceremony but then she changed her mind and told her parents that she no longer wanted to participate.
Bree then has second thoughts about the ceremony and flees because she sees her parents being taken away by what appears to be one of the deacons.

Body of Light
