Shannon Solomon is the actress who played Jules. She is the sister of Amanda Goodfried, which was confirmed in this post at the forum. She is a cheerleader and plays softball and volleyball.
Shannon was not originally going to be a canon character, but an actress who was supposed to be a canon character withdrew from the project at the last minute. The Creators liked Shannon's videos (which were made with Amanda Goodfried when she was visiting Shannon in Texas) and decided to make Jules an official character.
