Transcript
[during this monologue, scenes flash showing TAAG on a roadtrip and snuggling.]
Sarah: We’re on the road…..again. <sigh> We’re heading back to Zavalla to help Taylor—don’t worry, she’s ok. My dad was tracking her down because he locked himself out of the house and needed a spare key. But, she’s pretty shaken up and she’s convinced that my dad is an Orderite. I….I don’t know what to think. Those pamphlets, they’re pretty shocking but…. I refuse to believe that my dad is in the Hymn of One or the Order. I mean, wouldn’t Taylor and I be raised in the Hymn, and our mom would’ve, she would have been involved, too. It just…. It doesn’t add up. At first I didn’t want to go home. I thought maybe Taylor was trying to get some attention since we hadn’t talked to her for awhile. And then I brought up Jonas, since he’s a walking target for ascension. What if this is some kind of trap? But…. Daniel just kept telling me I was in denial. That pissed me off. Mostly cuz….he’s probably right.
[camera focuses in on Sarah and Daniel sitting at a park or a reststop eating.]
Daniel: Hey baby, are you gonna finish that?
Sarah: Oh… no, you eat it, I’m not really hungry.
Daniel: Hmm? I know you’re scared but we're doing the right thing.
Sarah: No, I know its just um.. I hope my dad is the guy I remember you know what I mean?
Daniel: we're in this together. okay? no matter what.
Sarah: you promise? no matter what?
Daniel: no matter what.
Sarah voice over: We may be heading in to the unknown but Daniel’s right. Now we’re doing it together. So much has happened over the past year. Its nice to see Jonas laugh for a change. You know, just let go and be him self.
[Jonas and Jennie messing around with Jonas’s skateboard in a basketball court]
Jonas: Gemme a break, i haven’t had time to practice.
Daniel: Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but you were never good on that board.
Jonas: aww.. WHAT?
Jennie: I think you got dissed
Sarah: You know um, They say you can never go home. Well, whoever they are, never had a parent in an evil cult, allegedly. (rolls eyes)
