Main Characters

These main characters are the focus of most videos and the central plot. They have major speaking parts and create their own video blogs.

Charlie Portrayed by: Tara Rushton Kate's former roommate and best friend.	Gavin Portrayed by: Ralf Little Charlie's ex-boyfriend/roommate and Tariq's former business partner.	Julia Portrayed by: Lucinda Rhodes Flaherty Tariq's new girlfriend who is more down to earth than Kate.
Tariq Portrayed by: Jai Rajani Kate's ex-boyfriend and Gavin's former business partner.

Supporting Characters

These supporting characters have been seen in many of the videos. Some of them videoblog, while others are not videobloggers but still contribute to the plot.

Lee Portrayed by: Sam Donovan An former employee of Gavin and Tariq's who was treated poorly.	Michelle Clore Portrayed by: Valerie Cutko World famous artist believed to be an Elder of the Order.	Sophie Portrayed by: Pippa Duffy A fan who runs the KateModern Bebo page.
Steve Portrayed by: Giles Alderson A "friend" of the K-Team who is a member of the Hymn of One.	Terrence Portrayed by: Matthew Gammie A man to whom Gavin and Tariq owe a lot of money.

Former Characters

For a variety of reasons, these once main, but now former characters, no longer appear in the series.

Kate Portrayed by: Alexandra Weaver A trait positive artist from London.

Dudley Portrayed by: Liam Reilly Dr. William Griffin's son who claimed to be working against the Order.

Dr. Griffin Portrayed by: Gene Foad The doctor Kate visited who seemed to know a great deal about the Order.

Guest Characters

These guest characters usually appear in one or two videos and do not post blogs. Most of them only have minor significance to the plot.

Bystander Portrayed by: Unknown A man hanging out near the crime scene who informs Julia of what happened.	Caroline Portrayed by: Caroline Virr Drew's assistant.	Charlie's boss Portrayed by: Pete Gibbons Charlie's boss, who almost caught Charlie videoblogging at her office.	Charlie's co-workers Portrayed by: Gavin Rowe, Claire Finbow Charlie's obnoxious co-workers.
The Days Portrayed by: Themselves A Band that Kate and Charlie meet in Devon.	Drew Portrayed by: Jonathan Almond The Hairdresser at the Pantene Shoot.	Driver Portrayed by: Unknown A cab driver who chats with Charlie on her way into London.	Gnome Mule Portrayed by: Elizabeth Day A woman who helped Lee deliver his gnome.
Hymn of One member Portrayed by: Yusuf Pirhasan A friend of Steve's and a member of the Hymn of One.	Jamie Bell Portrayed by: Himself An actor who thinks Charlie is cute.	Dave Portrayed by: Jamie Turner Cameraman of on the scenes reporter at Kate's art show.	Janet's dad Portrayed by: Michael Sheldon Charlie visits him looking for his daughter.
Joan Portrayed by: Margaret Hyams Gavin's aunt from whom Gavin and Tariq wanted to rent an office space.	Julia's Boss Portrayed by: Unknown Julia's new boss at JustIncredible.TV who sends Julia on morning errands.	Lucy Portrayed by: Amanda Goodfried Bree's old "helper"; showed up in London to help Michelle Clore find Kate.	Model Portrayed by: Curranne Labercane The model at the Pantene Shoot.

The "other" policeman Portrayed by: Stuart Yule A policeman on the scene at Carnaby Street	Patricia Portrayed by: T'Nia Miller A interviewer, working on a Documentary about the Order.
Patricia's cameraman (Dave) Portrayed by: Gavin Rowe He goes everywhere with Patricia to capture the action.	Policemen Portrayed by: Various Actors Enforcers of the law who aren't aware of the Order's activities.	Reporter Portrayed by: Hazel Grian Journalists who report on the happenings in London.	Shadows Portrayed by: Michael Coombs Agressive members of the Order; Michelle Clore's bodyguards.
The "Sock" Girls Portrayed by: Various Actresses Girls that Gavin meets who are amused by his strange fetish.	Videographer Portrayed by: Stuart White A videographer from the Pantene Shoot.	Watcher Portrayed by: Pete Gibbons A man in a black suit who watches Kate's apartment.	Woman with flowers Portrayed by: Claudia Joseph A woman whom Kate buys sunflowers from.

Unseen Characters

These are people who have been referenced, but not seen, in the KateModern videos.

Bree A girl in America who was killed by the Order.	Charlie's mom Charlie calls her before receiving the serum from Spencer.	Gavin's sister She lives in London, and Tariq breaks into her house to find Gavin.	Janet A trait positive girl who dies before Charlie can find her.
Kate's ex Kate visits him after he appears in one of her dreams.	Kim Charlie's adorable niece, who she regrets not being able to watch growup.	Rose Charlie's sister, who she doesn't get to see very often.	Spencer Scientist in America that sends Charlie the trait negative serum.
Tariq's dad Tariq's father, whose death results in Tariq solving his problems with his fists.
