Transcript

Jonas: This whole weekend's been a daze. Since Friday. Since Gina was taken. Then returned to us later that night.

We were all sitting around, trying to figure out where Bree's mom took Gina when it happened.

(Cut to Daniel sitting in front of the camera playing with an orange. Jennie is trying to comfort Jonas in the background.)

Jennie: We're gonna find her.

Jonas: Yeah.

Daniel: It's been ten hours. Dammit. (Smacks the orange on the table.)

Jennie: Look, I know she could be anywhere right now.

(A car door is heard closing outside, followed by a mechanical noise.)

Daniel: What was that? (Runs to the front door.)

Jonas: (Pushes past Jennie to grab the camera.) It's just a car, man. It's nothing. It's nothing!

(Jonas runs outside with Jennie. The screeching of tires is heard. Daniel and Jonas run to Gina, who is on her knees in the street..)

Daniel: Gina!

Jonas: Oh my god. Gina.

(The camera finds a CD lying in the lawn near Gina.)

Daniel: You okay?

Jonas: Okay. You okay?

Daniel: What is this?

Jennie: You okay?

(Jonas pulls Gina to her feet.)

Daniel: Jonas, get her inside, man.

Jonas: Okay, come on. Get up.

Daniel: Get her in.

Jennie: Come on.

Daniel: Get her in. Come on.

Jonas: Gina, can you hear me?

(Daniel runs down the street, saying something inaudible.)

Jonas: Talk to me!

Jennie: Gina, what happened?

Jonas: Are you okay?

Jennie: What happened?

Jonas: Gina!

(A dog barks as they enter the rented house. Cut to Jonas on the couch.)

Jonas: (Sighs.) Gina was missing for ten hours. Ten hours. She walked straight into her room and went to sleep. She's been asleep now for almost... (Shrugs.) forty-eight hours now. (Sighs.)

Over the weekend when she was sleeping we... (Laughs.) Eh, uh, we didn't... Residual anxiety, I guess, is what they call it.

(Cut to Jennie laying on Jonas on the couch, holding hands. He kisses the top of her head. Cut to Daniel and Sarah arguing. Cut to Jonas talking to Daniel in the kitchen. Cut to Sarah looking bored on the couch. Cut to Daniel and Jennie drinking coffee and talking on the couch. Cut to Jonas looking grief-struck at the table with a coffee mug. Cut to Jonas talking to the camera at the table.)

Jonas: I encouraged Gina when she said she wanted to find Bree's mom. (Laughs.) Wasn't worth it. Worth this.

Bree's mom gave Gina this. (Shows the CD to the camera.) And Gina muttered something about how Elizabeth told her to open it, but... You know, she was just so out of it. We think they probably drugged her.

(Sighs.) Well, there's a file on it. But, of course, it's got an encrypted password. And we all tried our best to figure it out, but, honestly, right now our brains are just, like, Jell-o. Everybody's just too tired. Too worried about Gina.

Who knows what's on this thing? But whatever it is, Bree's mom wanted Gina to open it. So here's what I'm gonna do: I'm gonna post these numbers on the forum at lg15.com and maybe... maybe you guys can figure it out. Please?

(Cut to Jonas sitting on the floor outside of Gina's room. Gina opens the door a crack.)

Jonas: Gina? Gina, listen, I'm sorry. Gina.

(Gina closes the door.)

Notes

  • Information about the CD can be found here.
  • At just ten hours, this marks the shortest kidnapping thus far in the lonelygirl15 series.
  • This video's title, as well as the original title of the video before it, is likely a reference to the book, and subsequent movie, Girl, Interrupted.
  • The sounds of the car tires screeching were almost certainly added in post-production. In the hi-res version of the video, the screeching sounds can be heard in full stereo and seem to be constantly shifting, coming from behind the house and/or camera at times.
