Katharine McPhee was the runner-up on Season 5 of American Idol. On Jan. 17 it was announced that McPhee would guest star in an episode of Lonelygirl15. Two days later she appeared in the 118th LG episode, entitled "Truth Or Dare".
According to the Associated Press, McPhee was an early fan of the show, and encouraged her management to approach the Creators about a possible guest role.
