Transcript

(The camera pans over trees and a cabin to Gina.)

Gina: Look familiar? Last time we were here, there was a lot of snow. So this is where we've been for the last week. And I know that going offline was a bit extreme, but being under constant attack finally took it's toll on us and we just needed to take some time to cool off; kind of take stock on the whole situation, you know?

(Cut to Gina with her arms crossed leaning on the edge of the porch.)

(Laughs.) Being on the hit list for an evil cult can get pretty stressful. And we all have our own way of coping. Who's to say which way is right?

(Music begins to play as Gina collects sticks, dirt, and leaves outside. She voices over the scene.)

Gina: So before, when I lived at the Hart Study, I would close my eyes and imagine a place without needles or examining rooms: a place where I never felt sick.

(Cut to Gina walking back to the cabin, talking to the camera.)

Gina: Well, now you know my way of coping: escape. But how 'bout everybody else? Let's see... Sarah. She's been talking to Carl every day and he's great! And so is she!

(Cut to a fast-forward montage of Gina gluing sticks onto a piece of paper. She voices over the scene.)

Gina: And now we know hers: (Cut to the piece of paper, which reads "Denial".) Denial.

(Cut to Gina talking to the camera in front of a pile of her supplies.)

Gina: And Jennie's? Well maybe you can guess.

(Cut to a montage of Gina pouring dirt and flowers over a piece of paper, forming a heart. She voices over the scene.)

Gina: Jennie's keeping us together. Checking in on me, Emma, and even Sarah. She's always asking us if we're okay. Care-taking. I just hope that she remembers to take care of herself, too. And the boys. (Laughs.) The boys...

(Gina shows the piece of paper to the camera. Cut to Gina talking to the camera.)

Gina: So Jonas and Daniel see last week as a temporary setback in their efforts to bring down the Order. Instead of fighting from home, they decided to fight from here.

(Gina gets up. Cut to a montage of Gina creating a poster from "Fight the Order" posters, sticks, and dirt. She voices over the scene.)

Gina: They've set up a perimeter around the cabin and they take turns keeping watch. Testosterone.

(Gina shows the poster to the camera, which reads "FIGHT!" Cut to Gina talking to the camera.)

Gina: And then there's Emma. We've both been hunted, locked up, and abused by the Order, but somehow she's managed to rise above it all and become this... this bold person.

(Cut to a montage of Gina making another poster of a tree with sticks and pencils. She voices over the scene.)

Gina: And how has Emma learned to cope? By growing up; by becoming strong. (Shows the picture to the camera, with the words "Strength", "Brave", and "Courage".) Maybe I'm a little envious.

(Cut to a fast-forward montage of Gina making another poster, using a picture of the TAAG, sticks, and leaves. She blows on the poster. Cut to Gina talking to the camera.)

Gina: And these days, when I close my eyes this is what I see.

(Gina shows the poster of the TAAG to the camera. Fade to a zoomed-in view. Fade to black.)
