(Jennie speaks to a camera in her purse. She is dressed up)
Jennie: I'm in Thompson's apartment--the economic adviser for the Salinas' campaign. I called him and told him I finally wanted to take him up on that dinner he suggested. He took the bait. I crushed up some sleeping pills into powder. (puts some powder into a glass of wine) That should put him out for a while. I really just need enough time to go through his briefcase and find something we could use against Salinas. (puts camera down and picks up glasses) I know this is risky, but I don't care. It's for Gina.
Thompson: (coming from a different room) Did I hear you talking to someone?
Jennie: Oh, yeah. I was just making a quick call.
Thompson: Oh. Okay. (sits next to Jennie on couch) Where were we?
Jennie: Uh, I was just asking about Salinas and how the campaign was progressing.
Thompson: (drinks from glass) Mm. Who wants to talk about that creep? (Jennie laughs) I only took that job because it pays really well.
Thompson: Anyway, I'd rather talk about how you and I are progressing.
Jennie: Oh... (Thompson reaches toward her to kiss her, she turns away) Okay! Oh, um, I wasn't expecting that.
Thompson: What? You don't like me?
Jennie: Um, no! I just...um...I just need to freshen up! Why don't you finish up the rest of your glass and I'll bring the bottle back with me.
(Jennie walks to a different room)
Thompson: Okay. (scoots closer to camera. To himself as he drinks from his glass) Okay. This is going to be fun. (Jennie pokes her head around a corner) Lisa, where's the rest of the wine? Oh! Oh. (Thompson's eye's widen. Breathes hard.) Mhm. Lisa?
(falls asleep. Jennie walks over him and picks up camera. Jennie walks through a long hallway)
Jennie: I knew I'd find something from that sleaze-bag Thompson. But I had no idea I'd find anything this good. I found some really important documents but they look encoded, and I'm not sure what to make of them. So, I'm going to send them to my friend Evergreen, a friend from LG15.com. Maybe she can help figure them out. Look, Evergreen. We don't have much time. So, if you could help at all, if you could figure them out, please just send me a message or post a video, okay? Thanks. Good luck.
- If closely examined, it almost looks like Jennie has passed the clean glass to Thompson. So, it looks like she is drinking the sleeping powder. But, she is actually the sleeping powder wine to him and swapping hands with her glass. It isn't seen because it is out of sight.
