Jennie: I saw Daniel and Emma’s posts, and I’m really scared. I hope they’re okay. I- I wanted to get in touch with them sooner, but I think I’m being followed. Look, I have an idea for a safe place to meet, but, in case I am being followed, I don't want to be too explicit, okay? Meet me at the following location: The arms of Zephyrus reach out. Moving the Cardinal towards Magellan's footsteps. The Sound of Music evaporates underneath the uneven condition where Agnes stood. (Looks nervously behind her.)
Once you make sense of that, send a message to Daniel and Emma at lg15.com. Please, tell them to meet me there. Right now, I'm gonna upload my footage of prom. You guys need to see what happened.
(Cut to an elevated view of prom. The camera pans over Emma and Gina as they dance, slowly lowering. Gina takes a lollipop out of her mouth the talk to the camera.)
Gina: This is officially the best prom I've ever been to!
Jennie: (Giggles and turns the camera on herself.) I know, it's totally worth it just to see Jonas in those tight pants. (Pans to Jonas's pants.) He is so HOT! (Giggles.)
Emma: Ahem! (Daniel shrugs at the camera.) Ahem! (Jennie pans back to Emma.) Excuse me! Little sister. (Signs "I'm watching you" to Jennie.)
Jennie: Oh, right... (Emma and Jennie laugh.) Sorry!
(Emma continues dancing. Jennie pans back to Gina and catches Carl and Sarah on the porch. Carl is hunched over his cell phone as Sarah glares at him.)
Jennie: Oh, whoa. Those two look like they're lacking some prom spirit.
Gina: Seriously! Party poopers.
(Sarah sits down on a chair.)
Jennie: Wow.
(Cut to Jennie walking out to Carl, who is attempting to text on his phone.)
Jennie: Okay! Alright, you two; when you getting back on the dance floor?
(Sarah walks over to Jennie, looking annoyed.)
Carl: Oh, just as soon... as I finish up sending this e-mail... There. Done! What do you say, you ready to cut a rug?
(Carl nudges Sarah as Jennie giggles. Sarah stares at him and rolls her eyes. Carl's cell phone starts ringing and Sarah sighs, agitated.)
Carl: It's--
Sarah: Just go, go!
Carl: --the office, I've--
Sarah: Go!
Carl: Just hang-hang on, I...
Sarah: Just go!
(Carl walks to the other side of the porch to answer his cell phone as Sarah waves him away.)
Sarah: Ugh. You know, I don't get it. I try and do something nice for him, bring him up here, and he's acting... just totally... ugh! (Drinks some punch.)
Jennie: Um... like, weird and sort of disinterested, not--
Sarah: Actually, I was gonna go with dumb and distant, but... sure. Why not? Yeah.
(Sarah walks past Jennie into the cabin. Jennie pans to Carl on his phone. Cut to Emma and Gina slow dancing together.)
Jennie: Aww, you two make a cute couple.
Emma: (Laughs.) Not as cute as you two.
(Jennie laughs and pans to Jonas standing in front of her.)
Jonas: Excuse me, beautiful, but do you mind if I have this dance? (Cut to Jennie taking Jonas's hand.)
Jennie: Oh. (Giggles.)
Jonas: Here, let me take that.
(Jonas takes the camera and turns it on Jennie and himself.)
Jennie: Oh... Please--
Jonas: Come on!
Jennie: Please don't film this.
Jonas: What? Listen, it's just- This moment's important to me, I just want to capture it, that's all.
Jennie: Well, it's our moment, and I don't want to share it with anyone else. Okay?
(Jonas looks at the camera.)
Jonas: (Grumbles.) Alright. (Jennie giggles.)
(Jonas lowers the camera as Jennie's phone rings.)
Emma: Jennie! Jennie, your phone's ringing.
(Fade to Daniel dancing with Sarah. Daniel puts his hands on Sarah's butt.)
Sarah: Oh-ho! (Pulls Daniel's hands off.)
Daniel: Wha-what? I-- what?
Sarah: Cheeky monkey! (Turns around, grinding against Daniel.)
Daniel: What?
Jennie: Whoah, smooth; real smooth.
Daniel: Whatevs!
(Jennie pans to Emma and Gina. Jonas walks into the shot.)
Jonas: Hey. Hey, where's Carl?
Daniel: He's in the bathroom, man, why?
Jonas: (Looks around nervously.) Come out on the porch with me, I gotta show you guys something.
Sarah: What?
Jennie: Jonas, what is it?
(Jonas leads everyone out onto the porch.)
Jonas: I- I knew it man, I knew we couldn't trust this guy!
Emma: Hey, guys! (Jennie whips the camera around, showing Emma putting her camera down on a table.) What is going on, huh?
Jonas: I'll tell you what's going on. I was outside, and I saw Carl and his phone, right? In his car, and he looked all freaked out. So when he finished, I went into his car and looked around. His glove compartment was locked, so I unlocked it.
Sarah: Why would you do that?
Jonas: Look, I didn't want him here in the first place, alright, but I held my tongue, and that's my fault, but we definitely can't trust him. (Holds out a laminated card.)
Sarah: (Grabs the card.) Oh what, for having a parking pass?
Jonas: No, that's not just a parking pass, Sarah, that's a swipe key to the Hymn of One center!
Sarah: Yeah, and it's probably from when he used to work there.
Jonas: Really? Check the date on the sticker; it's from last week, okay? He's still going there. (Sarah stops, looking shocked.) He's still Hymn of One!
Sarah: Oh my god...
Jonas: (Grabs the card.) And he's gonna explain this, and he's gonna explain it now.
(Jonas walks into the cabin. Cut to Jonas approaching Carl, who was sitting next to Gina on the couch.)
Jonas: You! Y- You gonna explain this, huh?
Gina: Hey--
Jonas: Can you explain this? (Shoves Carl.)
Emma: Jonas!
Gina: Whoa, whoa, whoa!
Jonas: You wanna try?
Gina: What is going on?
(The girls cry out as Jonas tackles Carl to the ground.)
Gina: What're you doing?
Sarah: Jonas!
(Cut to Daniel walking by as Jonas hovers over Carl unconscious on the ground.)
Jennie: Oh my god...
Jonas: Get some rope!
Gina: What is going on?
Jonas: Get some rope!
(Jennie sets the camera on the ground. Cut to black. A bullet from a gun with a silencer is heard, followed by screams. Cut to Jonas laying over an arm, attempting to take a pulse.)
Jonas: I don't feel a pulse.
Emma: Jonas, are you okay?
(A loud bang is heard, followed by glass shattering.)
Jonas: Run. Everybody run!
Emma: Everybody run! (Emma's foot pushes the camera, facing it toward the door, showing another camera lying on the ground.) Come on, please! Everybody run!
(Emma's and Jonas are seen running away from foot-level. The music continues as a pair of legs in jeans runs across the frame. Lucy walks across the frame, passing the camera. Carl's arm is seen grabbing the camera from the middle of the floor.)
Notes
- An arm can be seen reaching down to pick up a camera towards the end of the footage. This has been identified as Carl's arm, proving he was working against TAAG.
- The cryptic message Jennie leaves at the beginning of the video is a puzzle. The solution can be seen here.
