Justin Thompson was an editor and camera operator for the lonelygirl15 video series. He was first credited on the extended MySpace episodes of season two: Is This The End? and What Happened?.
While still a college student, Justin founded his production company, Subversive Video Productions. The following year he graduated from Columbia College and went on to shoot live music and music videos soon thereafter. His videos have been featured on MTV, MTV2, and Fuse, and he has released a collection of his live videos to benefit Cancer Treatment Research.
In 2005, Justin began working for Concept One Media, a production company in Chicago, where he edited and made motion graphics for TV commercials. Two years later he got a job with Honda Civic Tour 2007, where he toured with Fall Out Boy and posted daily webisodes about touring life with the band. Later that same summer he moved out to LA and started work with lonelygirl15. He stayed with the show until December, the last video he filmed being Am I A Murderer? He currently has plans to produce a new show at at Mark Hoppus's (Blink-182, +44) recording studio.
While there is no proof to substantiate it, there has been speculation that Justin might be related to Nicole Thompson, who worked with Kevin Schlanser on his film The Utopian.
