Cat Hunt is the three-hundred thirty-third video in the lonelygirl15 video series. It is also the seventy-seventh video of season two.

Transcript

(Jonas is outside as the sun appears to be setting.)

Jonas: Emma is safe. She's with my family--her family, actually.

(Jonas swats insect away.)

Jonas: After six years of thinking that they were dead, I still wake up and I have to remind myself they're okay; that my parents are alive and well. Thing is, they're not mine anymore. I get it. They don't want me around, and why would they? After what I did to their daughter. I mean, Claire and this rogue Elder...

(Cut to a clip of Join Me! in which Claire is on a T.V. screen in LaRezisto's Green Room. Cut to a clip, also from Join Me!, in which Claire is in her White Room. Cut to a clip of I'm Done in which Jonas is crying on a hotel bed after Bree's death.)

Jonas: They-- they completely played me, and I couldn't see it. I couldn't see it! Because after what happened to Bree, I was just lost. And I'm not saying this because I want you to feel sorry for me. I was stupid. I was wrong. And they saw that, and they just...

(Cut to a clip from We Reach Out in which several images of Bree's death and Resistance fighters dying.)

Reporter: (voiceover from We Reach Out) Innocent girl died.

(Cut back to Jonas.)

Jonas: They came after me.

Female voice: (voiceover from Remember Them?, however, clip is not shown) They do not recognize you...

Jonas: They came after me.

(The voiceover continues, until a clip of Remember Them? is shown.)

Female voice: (from clip) And yet, we know you recognize them.

Romanian voice: (also from clip) Noi stim ca tu sti acesti oameni. (We know that you know these people.)

(Cut to Jonas sitting in front of a mountain range in a desert in front of some sort of cactus.)

Jonas: And all they had to do was point me in the direction of my parents, and I barely even questioned it. I just gave them Emma, and she...she was almost killed.

(Cut to a clip of Claire from What Happened?. Claire is holding a gun to Emma's head.)

Emma: (from clip) What are you doing?!

(Cut back to Jonas.)

Jonas: Emma's just one. She's just one of how many? Hmm?

(Cut to a clip from We All Make Mistakes. Sonia is on a couch in the rented house. Jonas is standing near the couch.)

Sonia: (from clip) These girls are special. "The future of the eternal hymn." That's what they call them.

(Cut back to Jonas.)

Jonas: And how many other girls are out there? We know there's a baby. Well, the Order's eventually gonna go after her. What am I gonna do about that? What am I gonna do? I can't protect them all. I couldn't protect Bree. I sure couldn't protect Emma. In fact, I almost got her killed. This is like some sick game of cat and mouse. Let me show you.

(Jonas holds up a stick. Jonas walks over to a section of the dirt floor. He draws a cat.)

Jonas: See that? Cat. He's laughing at me; he's smiling; he's laughing at me; while I continually and stupidly believe that I can outrun him. Well, guess what? Changing the rules of the game. All right, cat?

(A silhouetted Jonas is momentarily shown.)

Jonas: This is the mouse that's gonna take you down.

(Jonas scratches out the cat drawing. A small clip of a silhouetted Jonas is, again, shown.)

Jonas: Watch out. Start looking over your shoulder. I'm coming for you.
