Following Emma's escape from the hospital after her "Ceremony", the team rented a cabin in Big Bear Lake to recoup and stay off the map. The group stayed there for a while until they were forced to run after spotting Dr. William Porter's former Shadow watching them. They returned months later after finding out they were on an Order hit list.
