Clara Stokes's story follows a lazy film student as she attempts to complete her thesis on the deaths of Maddison and Adam.  She arranges meetings with many people involved in investigation of the deaths, as well as people involved in the events leading up to the deaths themselves.  However, after finding the accused murderer dead, Clara realizes that she's in over her head.  She quickly became withdrawn, gets terrible nightmares, and refuses to work on her thesis any longer.  She begins drowning her sorrows in alcohol.  Maddison's father, Gregory Atkins tries to entice Clara to continue working on the project, offering her money to continue doing so.  Additionally, Marla, an online friend of Clara's, tries to help by visiting her, but does not have any luck. Clara misses her planned graduation of December, 2007 as she continues to put off working on the thesis. In the meantime, Marla remains scared to act on the Maddison inquiry alone, and has not heard from Clara.

In Los Angeles, a young girl named Rachel receives a [[Hello. Several months pass before Rachel suddenly begins posting videos again with Where Does The Time Go?, in which she explains that she has been with her grandfather for several months. Rachel returns to L.A. to lead a normal life and is offered a job as a full-time production assistant. This means that she has to leave school and find a room-mate. At this point we meet Aly Zarin, (formerly known as Tachyon), who moves in. Rachel wonders about her own sexuality after seemingly catching Aly looking inappropriately at her. Rachel explains that she felt different growing up and has never really been able to explain why. Whilst Aly's stares are cleared up as a misunderstanding, Rachel is still left wondering about her sexuality.

Chapter One Summary
+
*Video: What Happened Today Part 1 -- Maddison posts her first video on April 11, 2007.
+
:Summary: We first meet Adam while he is testing his video equipment in front of her house. They are on their way to the arboretum to film a class project together.  Adam comments that Maddisons clothes aren't "professional enough" for the topic.  Adam instructs Maddison to "take a right", and they go to a clothing store where Maddison tries on a number of outfits.  She finally settles on a light purple jacket and a black skirt. Adam turns off the camera.
+
*Video: What Happened Today Part 2 -- Maddison posts her second video on April 11, 2007.
+
:Summary:  Adam finds a pigeon with a note outside of Maddison's door.  When Maddison realizes the note has her name on it, she opens it.  One side contains her name with a bunch of "dots".  The other side says, "maddisonatkins@yahoo.com Login immediately. You will know the password."

+
:Summary: Maddison reads aloud an email that she received from Mr. Zipp. In the email, Mr. Zipp apologizes for contacting Maddison, saying that they were never intended to meet, but that due to a current unnamed situation, he feels forced to communicate with her.  He describes himself as a worried parent who has severe restrictions placed on the interactions he has with his only child. He hopes that Maddison can help save his child's life. Mr. Zipp says that Maddison's life is in danger because of this email that he sent her, and that she has no more than 15 days before "the organization" tracks the email to her. Mr. Zipp tells Maddison she needs to gain exposure online in order to save herself; if she can gain enough attention, she will not be considered a threat.

:Summary: After speaking to Deagol and others on the forum Maddison and Adam came up with a message to send to Mr Zipp. The message read "Final Check: Sketchy timbre needs clarity: not SM57/58. A4 tuned 15hz flat: feedback expected."  This implied that this was our final check, Timbre implies sound color and the colors and sketchs need to be clarified. Sm57 and 58 are microphones from the company Shure, implying that we weren't sure of what Zipp meant. A is a orchestra term for tuning in to get the same thing, tuned to 15hz flat you get 425. Implying we were wondering what was going to happen on 4/25. Feedback expectd is a microphone term implying that we want feedback on everything. The note is tied to the pigeons leg and sent off to Mr Zipp.

Warpylol is an assassin hired to kill people. He failed in trying to kill a man named Brother a few months back.

Maddison was showed the video and with fear of her life her and Adam decided to flee. But first she needed to make a video and chat with us in chat for a little bit telling us how scared she was

Running (April 25th) to No More
+

+
After seeing the warpylol video and reading our concerned comments, Adam and Maddison decide to run on April 25th. The video ends with Maddison looking very scared and on the verge of tears.
+

+
April 29th: No More is posted. In those four days, Adam and Maddison packed up and drove to Adam's Uncle Joe's.
+

+
Audio reveals that presumably Adam and Emily broke up and she took possession of Whiskey sometime recently, perhaps right before Adam and Maddison left town. They discuss how scared Maddison is and why she was the one picked for this. Driving shots show they travel throughout the day and night and back to day again. So this means that the soonest Maddy and Adam were killed was the 26th…as late at the 29th when the video was posted (obviously not by Maddison herself). Somewhere in that time, someone cut together the footage, added music, etc.

This page attempts to summarize everything you need to know about Redearth88, and its in-universe shows, such as OpAphid vs. Tachyon and Atkins.

OpAphid Vs. Tachyon

People

Summary

OpAphid emerged encouraging Bree, telling her that she was making the right choice by doing the Ceremony. She then posted a series of videos mocking Cassie and declaring her a "psychic vampire". Tachyon, while working undercover as a low level employee for the OpAphid organization, posted three ambiguous videos as messages to Brother, her partner. One night, Tachyon fled her job and broke into one of OpAphid's information gathering facilities and stole important files. OpAphid called upon the audience to intercept this information as Tachyon left it for Brother to pick up. Tachyon only left a small piece of the information, so over the course of the next several weeks, the audience continued to intercept Tachyon's drops as she left them for Brother in different locations in California. Through these drops, it was discovered that Gemma was part of the Order and that she had been dating Brother while they were both in England. Gemma had set Brother up to be killed by War Pylol, but Tachyon secretly saved him. In return, Brother shot Gemma after some encouragement from Tachyon.

After Gemma's supposed death, OpAphid kidnapped Daniel and brainwashed him into posting a video to encourage Bree to do the Ceremony. With Tachyon and Brother's assistance, Bree and Jonas were able to rescue Daniel from the Order. Tachyon then spent some time training Bree at an undisclosed location in the woods. After this Tachyon and Brother probably received a new assignment, and no longer interfered with Bree and her friends. OpAphid and her agents vanished without a word.

She begins drowning her sorrows in alcohol. Maddison's father, Gregory Atkins tries to entice Clara to continue working on the project, offering her money to continue doing so. Additionally, Marla, an online friend of Clara's, tries to help by visiting her, but does not have any luck. People

Summary

In Los Angeles, a young girl named Rachel receives a film assignment from her professor and begins putting together video diaries recounting her life. She talks about her ex-boyfriend Jordan and her worries about an STD test. Elsewhere, a young man named Linc receives instructions to protect Rachel. The two meet and go on a date, but Rachel quickly becomes mad when she finds out Linc's intentions are to protect her, not to date her. She dumps Linc, and goes for her STD test. However, things do not go well there, and Linc ends up having to rescue Rachel from a mysterious doctor. Rachel and Linc go on the run, but soon are seen apparently being confronted by OpAphid.
